A-line mul cotton Kota Doriya full suit — pintuck yoke with bead work, pant and fringed dupatta
This is a three-piece full suit in mul cotton Kota Doriya: an A-line kurti with a V-neckline, fine pintucks down the yoke, small beads scattered across it and a line of beads tracing the neckline, three-quarter designer sleeves with a band of open ladder work at the elbow, a straight pant, and a matching dupatta finished with fringe lace along the edges. It comes in two colours, brown and purple, in sizes M to 3XL.
Each set is a single shade from shoulder to hem — kurti, pant and dupatta all in the one colour — so the texture and the detailing carry the look rather than a print. Brown is warm and understated; purple is a vivid magenta-purple and reads far more festive.
Mul cotton Kota Doriya is a fine, open-weave fabric with a soft checked texture you can see up close, and it stays light and airy in warm weather. The kurti is lined in cotton, so you get the look of an open weave without the transparency.
What's included
- Kurti — A-line mul cotton Kota Doriya with a V-neckline, pintuck yoke, bead work, three-quarter designer sleeves with open ladder work at the elbow and cuff, and a cotton lining
- Pant — straight, in the same shade as the kurti
- Dupatta — matching Kota Doriya with fringe lace edging
Fit and sizing
Available in M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL in both colours. Because the kurti is an A-line cut, you only need to check the bust — the flare takes care of the hip. Send us your bust measurement or the kurti size you normally wear, and we'll tell you which size to take.
Size chart — this suit
All measurements in inches, taken flat on the garment rather than on your body. This suit comes in M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL.
| Size | Bust | Hip |
|---|---|---|
| M | 38 | 40 |
| L | 40 | 42 |
| XL | 42 | 44 |
| 2XL | 44 | 46 |
| 3XL | 46 | 48 |
Every Parineeta kurti is cut with a standard 2-inch difference between bust and hip. For A-line cuts like this one, only the bust needs to match.

The guide above shows the full Parineeta size range. This suit is available in M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL.
How to check your size
Please don't measure your body. Measure a kurti you already own that fits you the way you like, and match it to the chart above.
- Lay the kurti flat on a table, smooth out the fabric and keep the front closed.
- Measure straight across from armpit to armpit, then double that number — that is your size. 19 inches = 38 (M), 20 inches = 40 (L), 21 inches = 42 (XL).
- For this A-line suit, the bust is all you need. For straight-cut kurtis, also measure from side cut to side cut and double it, and take the next size up if your hip is more than 2 inches larger than your bust.

Still unsure? Send us your measurements on WhatsApp and we'll pick the size for you.
Where to wear it
A monochrome set is one of the easiest things to wear well — a single shade reads taller and more finished than a two-tone set. Brown suits office wear, a daytime function or a get-together; purple is a bright, celebratory shade for Diwali, a puja, Navratri, an evening function or a family occasion. Gold jhumkas dress either one up; oxidised silver keeps them everyday. The kurti comes with a cotton lining, so it isn't see-through even though Kota Doriya is an open weave. The lining is cotton too, so it stays breathable. The dupatta is unlined Kota Doriya, which is light and slightly sheer by nature.
Care
We recommend dry cleaning this suit. Kota Doriya is an open weave, a deep shade can release some colour in a first home wash, and the bead work and fringe lace need gentle handling. If you press it at home, iron on low heat and keep the iron away from the beads.
Colour and photographs
The actual shade may look slightly different from the photographs because of lighting and screen settings. If the exact colour matters to you, message us and we'll send a real video of this suit before you order.

Frequently asked questions
What's included in this full suit?
Three pieces: a mul cotton Kota Doriya kurti with a pintuck yoke, bead work and a cotton lining, a straight pant in the same shade, and a matching dupatta with fringe lace edging.
Which colours is it available in?
Brown and purple. Brown is a warm, understated cocoa shade; purple is a vivid magenta-purple and reads far more festive. Both are monochrome sets, with the kurti, pant and dupatta in the same shade.
What is mul cotton Kota Doriya, and how does it feel?
Kota Doriya is an open-weave fabric traditionally associated with Kota in Rajasthan, with a fine checked texture you can see up close. In mul cotton it is soft, light and airy, which makes it comfortable through a warm Indian day.
Is the kurti lined? Is it transparent?
The kurti comes with a cotton lining, so it isn't see-through even though Kota Doriya is an open weave. The lining is cotton too, so it stays breathable. The dupatta is unlined Kota Doriya, which is light and slightly sheer by nature.
What is the shape and detailing of the kurti?
An A-line cut with a V-neckline, fine pintucks running down the yoke, small beads scattered across the pintucked panel and a line of beads tracing the neckline. The sleeves are a designer three-quarter style with ladder work at the elbow — a narrow open band cut across the sleeve, with fine thread bars running over the gap to join the two edges, and a smaller band of the same at the cuff. The dupatta is finished with fringe lace along the edges.
Is the whole set the same colour?
Yes. The kurti, pant and dupatta are all in the one shade — a monochrome set, with no contrast panel or printed border.
What sizes does it come in, and which one should I take?
M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL in both colours — measured flat on the kurti, a 38 bust for M, 40 for L, 42 for XL, 44 for 2XL and 46 for 3XL. Message us your bust measurement or the kurti size you normally wear, and we'll tell you which size to take.
It's an A-line kurti. Do I need to check my hip size?
No. For A-line cuts you only need to check the bust — the flare takes care of the hip.
How do I check my size at home?
Measure a kurti you already own that fits you well rather than measuring your body. Lay it flat with the front closed, measure straight across from armpit to armpit and double that number — 19 inches means 38 (M), 20 inches means 40 (L), 21 inches means 42 (XL).
Will this suit my body type?
The A-line cut falls away from the body rather than clinging, a single shade from shoulder to hem draws the eye up and down rather than cutting the body in half, and the pintucks run vertically through the yoke. Beyond that, fit depends on your measurements. Tell us your size and the fits you usually feel comfortable in, and we'll tell you honestly whether this one will work for you.
Can I wear it to the office as well as a function?
Yes. A plain monochrome set is easy for a working day, and the bead work and fringed dupatta lift it enough for a daytime function or a get-together. The purple is the dressier and brighter of the two.
How should I wash this suit?
We recommend dry cleaning. Kota Doriya is an open weave, and the bead work and fringe lace are better protected by dry cleaning than by a home wash. If you press it at home, iron on low heat and keep the iron away from the beads.
Can I exchange it if the size doesn't fit?
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 24 hours of delivery, with the product unused and in its original packing. We don't offer pickup, so the return courier has to be arranged and paid for at your end. Because that window is short, please message us your measurements before you order and we'll help you choose the right size the first time. Full terms are on our cancellation, exchange and refund policy page.

Care tips
Care tips
- We recommend dry cleaning for all our outfits. It keeps the colour, fabric and any embroidery in their best condition.
- Natural fabrics such as cotton and mul cotton can release some colour in a first wash, which is another reason we suggest dry cleaning.
- Iron inside out on low heat, never directly over embroidery, zari or sequins.
- Store folded in a cotton bag, away from damp and perfume.
